Human beings are members of a whole
A New Song on Sa’adi’s Poem
Human beings are members of a whole
It is my great honor to contribute a new song on one of The Sa’adi’s poem which is called Bani Adam. Sa’adi is a Persian poet who lived in 12th century. A fair translation that explains the very deep philosophy of his poem is: “Human beings are all part of one (body) [as if each human is a cell of The God’s body] , If one (a human) is not in well condition, one (body) –the whole world– does not enjoy living , If you can’t feel others pain, you can’t be called as a human”
Basically, the poet is trying to remind us that if we listen to our inner voice (very deeply); we come to a conclusion that our souls (human-beings souls) are inter-connected to each other (despite the fact of time and space) and we are all behaving as one (entity). This is one of the main fundamental facts of our nature that we were created based-on. Also, this fundamental fact can also be referred as being united or in another word: Unity.

by M. Aryanpoor:
Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
If you've no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain!
by H. Vahid Dastjerdi as:
Adam's sons are body limbs, to say;
For they're created of the same clay.
Should one organ be troubled by pain,
Others would suffer severe strain.
Thou, careless of people's suffering,
Deserve not the name, "human being".
and the last translation by Dr. Iraj Bashiri:
Of One Essence is the Human Race,
Thusly has Creation put the Base.
One Limb impacted is sufficient,
For all Others to feel the Mace.
The Unconcern'd with Others' Plight,
Are but Brutes with Human Face
